We welcome contributions to the Open Labor website. Send them through our email us form or if they are too big eg over 10MB, you can zip it or email us for a DropBox or a Google Docs link.
We want to hear from all ALP members and supporters who have views about how to reform, open up and grow the party, what it should stand for, and what ideas and policies it should be taking up.
We accept articles and responses to articles. Pieces should usually be no longer than 700-1000 words, responses shorter. We’ll review all contributions before posting, and reserve the right to make editorial changes for brevity and clarity.
We are looking for good ideas and sharp thinking, expressed in a respectful way. It’s OK to be critical and tough, but play the ball not the opponent.
The author retains copyright, but we may use published material for our purposes. If you think your contribution has been mistreated, email the Open Labor Communication Group requesting a review.
By submitting material to Open Labor you agree we may store it on our server indefinitely. If you have published the material elsewhere first, please provide the url.
All articles and responses must carry the author’s name. A head shot photo, a sentence or two of your bio, a Twitter username etc. would also be valuable.
Contribute to Open Labor. All contributions will be reviewed before posting. We will work with all authors if we believe there are issues that need to be resolved before publication.
Send contributions through our email us form or discuss with us the preferred way to send large files.
